I shot an engagement sesh with Josiah and Danielle back in April, and I just never got around to blogging it. You know, awards nights and graduation, senior trip, family vacation. It's been pretty busy since April! Their wedding is coming up in about 2 weeks, so I wanted to get them a little blog post up before the wedding. Josiah's family has been friends with my family for a long time because of church connections. I can even remember his family visiting with our church when I was really young, I always thought he was the coolest guy because he'd play with me after worship. :) Flash forward 14 or 15 years, and Josiah sent me an email about photographing his proposal to his girlfriend. I wasn't able to shoot the proposal, but we discussed shooting engagements, and then he and Danielle decided to book me for their wedding too! I was over the moon! Typically the bride to be is the one who books the photographer, so for Danielle to trust Josiah's judgment about me shooting one of the most important days of their lives meant so much to me. Josiah, Danielle, and I met in downtown Franklin to shoot their engagements. We started shooting at the Starbucks because of their adorable love story. Complete strangers, Josiah came up to Danielle in this Starbucks as she was reading a book. He asked what she was reading, and the rest is history! *Insert the song "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop" by Landon Pigg ;) * We made our way down the streets and found so many neat places to tucked away to shoot in. I had an absolute blast and couldn't stop shooting. We only stopped once the sun was gone, or we probably could have shot for hours more! I cannot wait for their wedding. I know it's going to be SO incredible! Have I mentioned how much I love my job lately? Well, I do. Photographing love is such a unique and extraordinary experience that not everyone is blessed with. I am so in love with what I do. "I've been waiting to smile, been holding it in for a while. Take it with me if I can, been dreaming of this since a child. I'm on top of the world." -Imagine Dragons

Oh, Kendall and Zac... How do I even write how much I adored shooting you two. Your love is so beautiful and inspiring. We had another session planned for that day anyways, and Kendall texted me and told me that she and Zac had gotten married! I freaked out in excitement and began thinking of how we were going to turn the beginning of our session into bride and groom shots! Kendall's cute white dress was perfect for the simple, summery, boho look we were going for. Both barefoot, they looked perfect. Pretty proud of $5 bouquet I managed to find. It really added the perfect pop of color and "bride-ness" to the pictures. I had an absolute blast shooting you two. You're simply gorgeous people that photograph so well. I'm so excited I got to capture this important moment in your lives together. I can't wait for more photographing adventures ahead. Much love to you both! Thank you for having me shoot pictures on your first day as man and wife!
XOXO Briana There just aren't enough words to describe how much I adore this shoot. To start off, this February day was more like a late spring day with gorgeous sunlight and a warm breeze. Morgan and Drew, my best friend of 13 years and her sweet boyfriend, were an absolute thrill to shoot. Morgan and Drew become so relaxed in front of the camera when they are together so posing was always easy. They were themselves, and they were so beautiful photographed together.
Now let's talk about how amazing their outfits were. Hello, perfect vintage goodness! It was absolutely perfect! Morgan can rock some red lipstick, and Drew's suspenders were spot on. I keep saying it, but oh my word! Everything could not have been more perfect! Ok. Duh, duh, duh, DUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHH. (Cue trumpet entrance noises.) |
