Taylor is so so talented, musically, artistically, in sports, just completely 100% talented. Taylor has always been an amazing artist, and I wanted us to be able to incorporate that into her shoot. When we came up with painting 2013, we were excited. When we came up with splatter painting it, we were OVER THE MOON. It was one of the most fun sessions I've ever shot. It was just so fun! It's completely Taylor, and I love it!

Hello! I came across this post and absolutely LOVE it! I've been wanting to do a shoot like this with splatter paint, but I must admit that I am very worried about shooting around paint. How did you avoid getting any paint splatters on your camera? Thanks for the words of advice! :)

Thank you! I guess she basically just threw and splattered the paint down on the painting and then on herself, so it wasn't really ever crazy paint flinging or anything. I stood far enough away just to frame the shot like I wanted so getting paint on my camera wasn't really ever an issue! Leave a Reply. |
